An Efficient Method for Document Correction Based on Checkerboard Calibration Pattern

Portable digital devices such as PDAs and camera phones are the easiest most widely used methods to preserve collect information. Capturing a document image using this method always has warping issues, especially when capturing pages from book rolled-up documents. In article, we propose an effective correct of captured image. The proposed uses checkerboard calibration pattern calculate world points. A radial distortion algorithm is handle problem based on computed obtained error rate 3% de-warping dataset (CBDAR 2007). achieved high level quality compared with other previous methods. Our fixes in images acquired different levels complexity, poor lighting, low quality, layouts.
